Week 1
Thu 1st – DR Congo Praise God for HEAL Africa’s Mercy Fund, which covers the medical bills of the most vulnerable patients admitted to the HEAL Africa hospital. As the need for this service has grown significantly in recent years pray for God’s continued blessing, guidance and provision.
Fri 2nd – Uganda Praise God for Betty, a hospital attendant at Wakisa, who, 14 years ago, was a Wakisa girl herself. Praise God also for her son, who just graduated from primary school this year.
Sat 3rd – India Praise God for the women who recently graduated from BCM’s vocational training program. Pray that they might find jobs that continue to empower them and help them provide for their families.
Sun 4th – WorldShare Pray for us as we prepare for our upcoming ministry partner visit in March. John Wandera from Christian Fellowship Ministries (CFM) will be visiting from Uganda and sharing stories from their incredible ministry at churches and small groups around the country.
Mon 5th – Cambodia Pray for Doeurn, a young boy in one of Sunshine’s programs, who recently broke his leg. His family was already going through a tough time, and this has added more stress. Pray for a quick and full recovery for Doeurn and for God’s peace and provision for his family.
Tue 6th – Uganda Pray for the people of Uganda in the face of a recent Ebola outbreak. Pray that they can stem the spread of the virus without needing a lockdown and pray for the safety of our partners – CFM and Wakisa – and the communities they serve.
Wed 7th – DR Congo Praise God for Ephphatha’s village savings and loans association (VSLA) program. Pray for the six women who just started a new group, that they might be successful in their small business endeavours and be able to help support their families.
Week 2
Thu 8th – Uganda Pray for Faith, a hardworking volunteer at CFM, whose three-year-old son is anaemic and has recently been in and out of hospital receiving treatment. The cause of his condition isn’t clear so pray for greater understanding and for God’s healing hand over him.
Fri 9th – DR Congo Praise God for keeping everyone at Ephphatha and HEAL Africa safe amid the ongoing conflict and insecurity around them.
Sat 10th – Cambodia The Cambodian Government has recently committed to addressing the problem of child and human trafficking (they are currently ranked as one of the worst in the world). Pray that God would give them wisdom and bless their efforts as they try to make the country safer for children.
Sun 11th – WorldShare Pray for our partners overseas as they are each being impacted by dramatic price inflation and shortages of food and essentials. Pray for God’s protection and provision over them and their communities. Pray also for God’s wisdom over us as we support them at this challenging time.
Mon 12th – India Pray for the nutrition awareness program BCM is running this month. Pray that many people would attend and learn how to better nourish themselves and their families.
Tue 13th – DR Congo Pray for God’s protection over the children in HEAL Africa’s programs. Pray that he might continue to keep them safe from the violence, unrest and kidnappings that have become far too common in recent years.
Wed 14th – Uganda Praise God that crop yields have increased at CFM’s Mafudu agriculture project despite recent challenging weather. Most members of the program report now having enough food to feed their families and even having some to sell.
Week 3
Thu 15th – DR Congo The fighting in Eastern DR Congo has forced thousands of people to flee their homes, with many of those heading for Goma. Pray for safety and provision for those who have fled and pray for those, like our partners, who are rising up to support them.
Fri 16th – Uganda Pray for everyone at the Wakisa Centre as they spend this Christmas season together. Pray that the girls would feel safe and cared for, and that they might experience God’s love, which he expressed by sending his son down to earth for us.
Sat 17th – India Praise God for the Christmas celebrations being held at Sinclairs school. Pray that the children will enjoy participating and come to understand the true meaning of Christmas.
Sun 18th – WorldShare Praise God for our new Head of Supporter Engagement, Brett Cannings. We are so excited to welcome him to the team!

Tue 20th – Uganda Pray for the two CFM church members who were recently robbed and attacked with machetes. Their lives were spared but they have lifelong injuries. The rising cost of living has seen an increase in violent crime in the area.
Wed 21st – DR Congo Pray for Ephphatha’s Christmas activities this month. Pray that it will be a time of joyful celebration and that members of the deaf community will come to know Christ through these events.
Week 4

Mon 26th – India Pray for church leaders, NGO’s and Christian organisations (like BCM) in Karnataka, India, as they plan their work around the new anti-conversion law that has reportedly resulted in increased persecution.
