Week 1

Tue 1st – DR Congo Praise God for HEAL’s Uamusho project, which provides support, education and empowerment for young people living on the streets. Pray for the Uamusho members who are currently being supported to attend school, university, or vocational training. May God be with them and grant them the required knowledge and wisdom to complete their respective programs of learning.

Wed 2nd – Uganda Praise God for Ritah, a social worker at Wakisa. Pray that God would bless and guide her work as she resettles young mums back with their families or into their new homes.

Thu 3rd – India Pray for the staff member at BCM who is recovering after a recent miscarriage (and who has been trying to have a child for six years now). Pray for God’s healing, peace and comfort over her body and mind, and, if it’s God’s will, that He might bless them with a child in time.

Fri 4th – Indonesia Pray for the 24 severely malnourished children that Yasera has identified and are assisting. Praise God for a local regional paediatrician that is willing to do clinical check-ups for these children. Pray that this can help Yasera identify the children’s health problems and that Yasera can help them increase their weight and nutrition.

Sat 5th – Cambodia Praise God for blessing Sunshine’s Amnor project with a brand-new partner church. Through their Amnor project Sunshine empowers and equips local churches to run children’s ministry and outreach programs in their communities.

Sun 6th – Uganda Pray for CFM’s Programs Manager Pius as he is receiving treatment for a serious case of malaria. Pray for a full and speedy recovery.

Mon 7th – DR Congo Praise God for healing Dr Aaron’s (from Ephphatha) child who has been very sick in recent weeks.

Week 2

Tue 8th – Uganda Pray for the four young girls at Wakisa who are currently having some challenges settling in and getting used to life at the centre.

Wed 9th – DR Congo Pray for God’s healing over all the patients at the HEAL Africa hospital. With the need for this service growing significantly in recent times praise God for their Mercy Fund (which covers the medical bills of the most vulnerable patients admitted to the hospital) and pray for God’s continued blessing, guidance, and provision.

Thu 10th – Cambodia Many members of the Sunshine community have been struggling with illnesses recently. Praise God for healing Sen, Pheara and Chantheth and pray that He would also have his healing hand over Chenda and Sreypich at this time.

Fri 11th – Indonesia Continue praying for Yublina at Yasera, who has been bringing her two children to the office while her husband is working in Jakarta. Pray that God would bless her efforts as she balances childcare and focusing on her work. Praise God that she has been able to find accommodation closer to the office so she can spend less time commuting.

Sat 12th – India Pray for Mr Manohar (the landlord who rents BCM the building for one of their Women’s and Children Centres) who is experiencing health problems. Pray for a full and quick recovery.

Sun 13th – DR Congo Pray for all the students who have dropped out of school in recent months due to the conflict and insecurity in the region. Pray that they might soon return to school and continue to get a valuable education.

Mon 14th – Uganda Praise God that Winnie (CFM’s Sponsorship Manager) is pregnant and expecting her first child later this year. They have been hoping for children for many years and so this is a great joy and relief. Pray for health and safety for both mother and child over the next few months.

Week 3

Tue 15th – DR Congo Pray for all the people who have been forced from their villages by the ongoing conflict and are currently living in the internally displaced people camps. Pray for God’s protection and peace over them during this time and pray that they might soon be able to return to their homes.

Wed 16th – Uganda Pray for Dr. Criscent as he visits former Wakisa girls in their homes to check in on them and see how they’re going. Pray for safe travels and good news from the women he visits.

Thu 17th – Indonesia Pray that God will keep Yasera’s team in Southwest Sumba safe amidst the high crime rate in the district where they work.

Fri 18th – India Pray for BCM’s plans to establish another Women’s and Children Centre (and possibly a hospital) this year in one of the villages they serve.

Sat 19th – Cambodia Praise God for blessing Sunshine’s recent child protection training, where 90 students and 15 teachers, across two schools, received training that focussed on effectively identifying and reporting child abuse.

Sun 20th – Uganda Pray for the new child groups that CFM is starting in Bunambutye. These groups will meet regularly to provide tutoring and mentoring for primary school children in the community.

Mon 21st – DR Congo Continue praying for Luanda and Shabani, the pastors from Ephphatha that are working with local churches in Sake and Minova to serve and evangelise to deaf members of their communities. Pray for safety as they travel between communities during this dangerous time.

Week 4

Tue 22nd – Uganda Continue praying for wisdom for Vivian (Wakisa’s Director) and Wakisa’s Board as they continue thinking about succession plans for the future.

Wed 23rd – DR Congo Praise God that HEAL has been able (so far) to continue running their primary school inside the Mugunga displaced people camp. The school gives children a safe place to go, to learn and to have some sense of ‘normalcy’ amidst the chaos of the current situation.

Thu 24th – Cambodia Praise God for the safety and success of Sunshine’s recent youth camp. Fifteen youths travelled to Sihanoukville to refresh, reflect, learn, and spend time together. According to Sunshine staff it was incredibly encouraging to see the youth’s growth, courage, and maturity.

Fri 25th – Indonesia Praise God that Pak (Yasera’s agriculture specialist) has been able to provide local farmers with improved cacao seeds and training to better manage their cacao fields.

Sat 26th – India Pray for the teacher at one of BCM’s vocational training centres, whose family is going through a difficult time right now. Pray for God’s strength and guidance for her and her family.

Sun 27th – DR Congo Pray for the recent graduates of Ephphatha’s vocational training program as they look for employment amidst the crises in Goma. Pray that they might find work and acceptance and be able to support themselves during this challenging time.

Mon 28th – Uganda Praise God for the success of CFM’s recent youth conferences and trainings (as part of their outreach program). Many young people have attended and all were highly engaged.

Week 5

Tue 29th – DR Congo Continue praying for safety and security for our ministry partners in Goma. Aside from the dangers from the civil conflict, the situation (food shortages, skyrocketing costs, etc.) has led to insecurity in the city. One partner recently reported that “Not a night goes by without houses in our street being visited and robbed by gangs of thieves”.

Wed 30th – Uganda Continue praising God for the people who gave their lives to Christ and the churches that were planted during CFM’s recent outreach events.

Thu 31st – Cambodia Pray that God would continue to keep the Yasera team safe as they travel between the city of Tambolaka and the village.
