7.30pm AEST Wednesday 21 April 2021
This April you’re invited to event two of Journey to Uganda, an online missions tour to explore the incredible impact of Wakisa Ministries.
On 21st April at 7.30pm we’ll travel virtually to meet with Vivian Kityo and the team at the pregnancy crisis centre in Kampala. Crossing live for our mission’s tour, we’ll explore the incredible impact of the ministry first hand, seeing how outcast girls in the community are welcomed into the home of Wakisa.
Our Ministry Director will take us on a journey to discover the rising challenges of COVID in the local area and how they are responding to pregnant girls in desperate need. In turbulent times many teenage mums have been isolated from families but Wakisa are helping to restore lives by building a path of hope.
On this special mission event, we’ll visit the new building that is hosting vulnerable girls, visit the vocational classes and see what daily life is really like for recovering mums. Hear the stories and watch videos of real-life testimonies as we meet with the girls to connect and support the rebuilding of their lives.
Join us soon for this behind-the-scenes tour of Wakisa Ministries in Uganda and let the night inspire you as we walk alongside our partners in this night of hope for the girls at Wakisa.
