About Hohidiai

Many people present to Hohidiai hospital, in need of medical care and unable to afford it. Hohidiai exists to provide physical, emotional and spiritual care to the people of North Maluku, especially the poor and marginalised.

The medical program of Hohidiai began in response to the suffering of thousands of internally displaced people who had fled their homes due to religious persecution. Today, Hohidiai operates a hospital and school. WorldShare supports Hohidiai’s patients to access the medical treatment that is so desperately required and train Hohidiai’s medical students.

Partner Objectives

To provide free medical care and medicines to those marginalised in the community who would otherwise not have access to medical care.
