
Week 1
Sat 1st – DR Congo Despite the recent peace deals between the DR Congo, the M23 and Rwanda, there have been reported outbreaks of conflict between the armed forces. Pray that these recent conflicts would cease and that the steps towards peace that the countries are taking would continue moving forward.
Sun 2nd – Uganda Praise God for blessing our recent partnership trip to Uganda. Praise God for keeping everyone safe and for deepening connections as Daniel (our International Partnerships Coordinator) was able to visit all of our partners in the region and see the incredible work they’re doing in their communities.
Mon 3rd – India Pray for the teacher at our partner’s school who recently underwent heart surgery. Praise God that the surgery went well and pray that she will have a full and timely recovery.
Tue 4th – Indonesia Praise God that none of our partners were hurt or too badly impacted by the recent violent protests in Indonesia.
Wed 5th – Cambodia Pray for the young boy in our partner’s program who suffered severe burns in an accident last month. He’s currently being treated in the paediatric hospital in Phnom Pehn. Pray for a full and speedy recovery and for God’s healing and comfort over his mind and body at this time.
Thu 6th – Uganda Praise God for the recent team training our ministry partner took part in as part of the transition in leadership they’re currently going through.
Fri 7th – DR Congo Pray for the teacher at our partner’s school for the deaf, who was recently injured in a traffic accident. Pray for a full and speedy recovery and that he might be able to return to school soon.
Week 2
Sat 8th – Uganda Pray for Pastor Isaac (our partner’s chief operating officer) and his family as they mourn the passing of his sister last month. Pray for God’s peace and comfort over them at this time.
Sun 9th – DR Congo Continue praising God for all the teachers who bravely continue to work to help kids learn and to make them feel safe and cared for, during this difficult and stressful time. Pray that God would give them strength and keep them safe.
Mon 10th – Cambodia Pray for God’s hand over our insight trip to Cambodia this month, being attended by a number of staff members, pastors and supporters. Pray for safety, smooth travels, and for connections to be deepened as they come together to see the incredible work that’s being done.
Tue 11th – Indonesia Praise God for Alexius, a young man who went through our partner’s families program himself, and who has now joined the team as a field staff member!
Wed 12th – India Pray for the two teachers at our partner’s school that are pregnant. Pray for a safe pregnancy, smooth delivery and good health for both mothers and their children.
Thu 13th – DR Congo Praise God for keeping a number of our partner’s staff members safe as they travelled across the border to Uganda for training and fellowship while our International Partnerships Coordinator, Daniel, was there on a partnership trip.
Fri 14th – Uganda Our partner is currently waiting for the formal registration of their new maternity clinic. Pray that all the formalities can be completed soon and that nothing will get in the way of them serving their community as soon as possible. Â
Week 3
Sat 15th – DR Congo Continue praying for people living in the displaced people (IDP) camps around Goma. The soldiers are reportedly ordering them to leave the camps and return to their villages, but many villages have been ravaged by the war and so there is nothing (no food, homes, or livelihood) for them to return to.
Sun 16th – Uganda Pray for the kids in our sponsorship program who are sitting their final national school exams this month. Pray that God would give them calm and clear minds as they strive to show their skills and understanding.
Mon 17th – Indonesia Pray for our partners as they are currently in the midst of establishing five new commercial gardens and 10 new savings groups! Pray for God’s blessing over their efforts and hard work.
Tue 18th – India Pray for God’s wisdom and guidance over our partner’s leadership team as they’re currently making plans for next year’s programs.
Wed 19th – Cambodia Pray for our partner in Cambodia as they are in the process of renewing their 3-year Memorandum of Understanding (i.e. their licence to provide the services they do). It can be a long a hard process so pray that God would bless their efforts and make their paths straight.
Thu 20th – DR Congo Praise God for the deaf members of our partner’s community who are graduating this month after undergoing three years of theological training.
Fri 21st – Uganda Praise God for the completion of our partner’s brand-new kitchen in their pregnancy crisis centre.
Week 4
Sat 22nd – Uganda Pray for our partners as they continue to look for one more midwife and one more gynaecologist for their new maternity clinic.
Sun 23rd – DR Congo Continue praying for God’s protection over our ministry partners as they continue to face dangerous situations while they work to serve the most vulnerable people in their communities.
Mon 24th – Cambodia Continue praying for the conflict situation along the Cambodian/Thailand border. The political situation of both countries remains tense, and both countries still have troops along the border. Pray that God would give wisdom to the leaders of both Cambodia and Thailand to find a peaceful solution for both countries.
Tue 25th – India Pray for the children and families in our sponsorship program. Pray that they would experience stability and improved living conditions through the program, but also that they might find peace, hope and spiritual growth as well.
Wed 26th – Indonesia After the recent regional election there is currently a reshuffle of government officials (many of whom our partners have good relationships with). Pray that God would have His hand over this situation and that whoever fills these positions will continue to support our partner’s work.
Thu 27th – DR Congo Pray for the students and staff members in our programs who are going through trauma counselling and training this month.
Fri 28th – Uganda Pray for our partner’s staff member and his wife who are mourning the loss of their child after a recent miscarriage. Pray for God to pour down His healing and comfort over them as they go through this shock and heartbreak.
Week 5
Sat 29th – Uganda Praise God for the girls at our partner’s pregnancy crisis centre who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour over the last two months.
Sun 30th – DR Congo As the conflict continues throughout other regions of the DR Congo, keep praying for the soldiers on both sides of the conflict. Pray that God would give them hearts of grace and mercy towards all the civilians they come across in this battle.
