Week 1

Mon 1st – DR Congo Continue praying for protection over the street youths in our partner’s program. Many young people in Goma, especially those living on the streets, are currently being forcefully ‘recruited’ into military ‘service’ (by both sides of the conflict).

Tue 2nd – Uganda Praise God for blessing our partner’s outreach efforts in recent months. Many people have received Christ in their lives, churches have been planted and communities transformed through the gospel.

Wed 3rd – India Praise God for the teachers, social workers, and program staff who work tirelessly to support the children and families in our programs. Pray that God would continue to give them strength, wisdom, and encouragement in their mission.

Thu 4th – Indonesia Praise God that the two new members of our partner’s Sumba team continue to be settling in well. Keep praying for them to find a field staff member to help with their families program.

Fri 5th – Cambodia Praise God that our ministry partners have recently had a number of good meetings with the leaders of various district departments and ministries (e.g. the Department of Education). Pray that God would continue to foster these relationships as they work together to serve their communities.

Sat 6th – Uganda Continue praising God for our ministry partner in Uganda as they celebrate 20 years of serving vulnerable mothers and children through their pregnancy crisis centre. Praise God for His guidance, provision and faithfulness over these years.

Sun 7th – DR Congo Praise God for all the teachers who bravely continue to work to help kids learn and to make them feel safe and cared for, during this difficult and stressful time. Pray that God would give them strength and keep them safe.

Week 2

Mon 8th – Uganda Praise God that our partner’s Livelihood Development team has recently begun working in a new community and has been warmly welcomed by members of the community and local leaders.

Tue 9th – DR Congo Alongside all the immediate threats from this conflict, our partners keep expressing to us the amount of trauma that everyone in Goma is suffering from. Continue praying that God would pour down His peace on our partners and the people of Goma and help them to reconcile with the horrors they’ve seen and experienced.

Wed 10th – Cambodia Pray for the teacher in one of our partner schools who recently had to undergo spinal surgery. Pray that she might have a full and timely recovery.

Thu 11th – Indonesia Praise God that our partner’s commercial partnerships (with a hotel, school, café and hospital) continue to go well. The partnership means that farmers in our partner’s program now have a more reliable way to sell their produce (and at higher prices) than at local markets.

Fri 12th – India Pray for the congregations and leaders of the local village churches in the communities we serve. Praise God for their faith and commitment in the face of many challenges.

Sat 13th – DR Congo Praise God for the two teachers, at our partner’s school for the deaf, that are pregnant. Pray for a safe pregnancy, smooth delivery and good health for both mothers and their children.

Sun 14th – Uganda Continue praising God for Vivian’s 20 years of service and that she can now retire with peace of mind, knowing that her position as director has been filled. Pray for God’s guidance over her as she navigates this transition and new stage of life.

Week 3

Mon 15th – DR Congo Praise God that our partner’s new (donated second-hand) bus is now operational and is transporting children (who live far away) to our partner’s school for the deaf.

Tue 16th – Uganda Pray for God’s protection over our partners as they travel between villages. Sadly, the number of road accidents rise dramatically in the region over the Christmas season.

Wed 17th – Indonesia Praise God for blessing our partner’s recent training events in commercial garden management, capacity building for savings groups, and child protection.

Thu 18th – India Many families in the communities that we serve lack proper identification documents. This causes many challenges in terms of accessing housing, services, loans, etc. Pray that local political leaders can prioritise the welfare of these vulnerable communities and help get the documents they need.

Fri 19th – Cambodia Praise God for one of our new partner schools and for blessing the recent work to install a clean water system, hand washing facility and rubbish incinerator at the school.

Sat 20th – DR Congo Praise God for all the doctors, nurses, and social workers at our ministry partner’s hospital who continue to tirelessly support wounded victims of the ongoing violence.

Sun 21st – Uganda Praise God for Joyce, the new National Director for our ministry partner in Uganda. She is an awesome answer to prayer after a long search for a suitable replacement for Vivian, who has served as founder and director for the past 20 years.

Week 4

Mon 22nd – Uganda Praise God for the provision of 5 new teachers for our ministry partner’s education program in remote communities.

Tue 23rd – DR Congo Praise God for the 10 members of the deaf community who are to be baptised in the next few weeks and are currently going through our partner’s learning program in preparation.

Wed 24th – Cambodia Continue praying for our Cambodian partner’s fundraising efforts. Many of their international donors have had to reduce their financial support, so pray for God’s guidance as they seek new partnerships and opportunities.

Thu 25th – World Praise God for sending his one and only son into the world, so we can have a right relationship with him, experience his love, and be part of his kingdom.

Fri 26th – Indonesia Pray for the team in Sumba as they recently lost their health project officer. Pray that God would guide to finding a new staff member soon and also help them as they cover the extra workload in the meantime.

Sat 27th – DR Congo Praise God for our partner’s primary school that serves children living in nearby displacement camps. Praise God in particular for their food program that is providing nutritious food to children at school (often these are the only nutritious meals they’ll get that day).

Sun 28th – Uganda Praise God for the young mothers who have recently returned home and are now making an income thanks to the skills they learned through vocational training at the centre.

Week 5

Mon 29th – Cambodia Praise God for blessing the church leader and pastor training in our partner’s community this month. Praise God that they’ve been strengthened, encouraged and further equipped to serve their churches and their communities.

Tue 30th – Uganda Pray for Uganda’s upcoming presidential election (in January). There are concerns about political conflict and instability in the lead up. Pray for peace over the country during this time.

Wed 31st – WorldShare Praise God for being with us all and guiding us through the joys and challenges of 2025. We thank God for everyone in our WorldShare community, and we pray that he may continue to bless you abundantly in 2026.
