Beyond Christian Academy provides transformational educational opportunities to children living in poverty in Lilongwe, Malawi. All BCA teaching staff are qualified and passionate educators, who understand the impact education has on breaking the cycle of poverty. 

Most BCA students come from families with low to extremely low financial resources and attend on part or full sponsorships. These students, like Princess, live in small, dirt-floor homes in the village. Princess and others living in the village are transported to BCA and receive uniforms, snacks, and stationery.

Beyond Christian Academy is funded by the generosity of supporters. You can partner with BCA by providing recurring support or one-off donations. Support makes it possible for young people like Precious living in incredibly difficult circumstances to receive life-changing learning in a caring, nurturing environment where they are invested into as a whole person. All giving makes a significant impact on the lives of these children and their families, now and into the future.

The impact of your support

When you support BCA, you are partnering with educators in one of the world’s poorest countries, to enable children to receive quality education. Your support makes it possible for young people living in incredibly difficult circumstances to receive life-changing learning in a caring, nurturing environment where they are invested into as a whole person. They are seen as individuals who have been gifted with talents and potential, and they are encouraged to grow, develop, and dream for the future. 

Where possible, families contribute school fees in consultation with the Academy. Students from the villages or from very low-income families are fully supported by sponsorships and donations. 

Donations are used to support:

• The wages of staff
• The rental of the building
• Electricity, water, phone service
• School uniforms and provisions
• Transportation for students from the village to school
• Snacks for students from the village
