As mentioned in the video, we are urgently needing new child sponsors to help children in Cambodia. If you can sponsor a child for just $49 a month, to provide them with life-changing education and family support, then please click the button below!

About the event

7:30-8pm AEDT, Thursday 14 October 2021

As you may have heard, we have a brand new ministry partner – Sunshine Cambodia!

Cambodia is one of the poorest countries in the world and struggles with high rates of child labour, domestic violence and a lack of education.

Against this backdrop, Sunshine Cambodia is transforming the lives of vulnerable children in Phnom Penh and rural Cambodia by providing them with access to quality education and safe, supportive environments at home and school.

We are so excited about our partnership with Sunshine Cambodia and we’d love for you to meet them.

So, on Thursday October 14 from 7:30 – 8pm AEDT we’ll be hosting an online meetup where you’ll get a chance to:

  • meet members of the team
  • find out more about the incredible work they do
  • hear their plans for 2021 and beyond
  • and see how they’re sharing God’s love with vulnerable children, families and teachers in Cambodia

Cambodia is an overwhelmingly Buddhist nation (only 2% of the population is Christian) and there are governmental constraints with evangelistic ministries, but Sunshine is committed to integral mission – loving like Jesus and sharing the gospel through words and actions.

By sharing God’s love with these children, along with their teachers and parents, they’re giving them a better chance to know Him, and live life to the full. They’re also restoring hope to a nation devastated by ongoing poverty and a recent history of terrible violence.

I am so looking forward to meeting up with them on October 14 and hearing all about their incredible ministry and I hope to see you there.
