Week 1

Tue 1st – DR Congo We pray for the Ebola virus to be contained and for protection among the health workers and infected patients in the affected regions of the DRC.

Wed 2nd – Uganda Praise God for guiding the Board of Committee of WorldShare’s local partner for a successful leadership transition. May the Lord bless their efforts so that more people can be reached and transformed.

Thu 3rd – India Pray for the ministry of our partner in Bangalore as they faithfully serve children and young people, many of whom are the first in their families to attend school. Give thanks for the opportunities these students have to receive a quality education and vocational training, helping them build hope-filled futures. Pray that God would bless their learning, strengthen their confidence, and open doors for them to flourish.

Fri 4th – Indonesia Pray for Spirit-led leadership in Indonesia as the director of our mission partner seeks to lead with wisdom, humility and faith. Pray they would be guided by the Holy Spirit in every decision, keeping God’s purposes at the centre of their work. May their leadership be shaped not by the pressure of meeting program targets alone, but by a deep commitment to God’s will.

Sat 5th – Cambodia We praise the Lord for His provision in enabling our local partner to recruit an experienced team of facilitators to lead livelihoods training for their staff. They will receive valuable knowledge and practical skills to help families build sustainable livelihoods. We thank God this training will bolster the ability to serve vulnerable children and their families with compassion, wisdom, and God-centred support.

Sun 6th – Uganda Please pray for wisdom and insight for the team members of one of our Ugandan mission partners, who are currently studying and managing projects.

Mon 7th – DR Congo Pray for Pastor P. of a local partner of WorldShare, as he prepares for an evangelistic trip to a nearby city. May God guide him, so souls can be saved.

Week 2

Tue 8th – Uganda Pray for the new Director of one of WorldShare’s local partners to lead that organisation with God-driven wisdom, compassion and clarity in this new season.

Wed 9th – DR Congo Pray for the children and their parents preparing to start a new school year this month. May they return safely to school and be protected from the Ebola virus and the war that rages around them.

Thu 10th – Cambodia We give thanks to God for the fruitful discussions between our local partner and a clothing factory. We are encouraged that a factory has committed to donating 3,000 shirts to go to marginalised children, families, and communities. Praise God for His faithful provision through this partnership, and pray that these gifts will be a tangible expression of His love and care for those in need.

Fri 11th – Indonesia We thank God for a successful training program on engaging approaches to reading, writing and arithmetic, attended by elementary school teachers from six schools supported by our local partner. We pray they will have confidence, creativity and perseverance with their new skills. May God inspire a love of learning in their students and help many children build a strong foundation for their future.

Sat 12th – India Please lift up the families in the villages where our local partner serves. Many are experiencing health challenges due to a nearby garbage dumping site, including illness and skin diseases. Pray for God’s healing to rest upon those who are suffering, for protection over the vulnerable, and for practical solutions that will bring relief, restoration, and improved living conditions to these communities.

Sun 13th – DR Congo Pray for the family and friends of a young person who recently passed away while receiving medical treatment at our local partner’s medical facility. May they know the eternal love of our Father in this difficult time.

Mon 14th – Uganda Pray for the Lord’s protection over the field staff of our mission partner, as there has been a recent increase in the number of traffic accidents in the region due to deteriorating road conditions.

Week 3

Tue 15th – DR Congo Please pray for the vulnerable patients receiving treatment at the hospital operated by WorldShare’s local mission partners. And may our mighty God provide his protection to the hard-working doctors and staff.

Wed 16th – Uganda Pray for our local partner and their team as they plan to build a medical camp to raise awareness of their new maternity centre. Bless their efforts Lord.

Thu 17th – Indonesia We give thanks and praise to God for the success of the recent partnership retreat led by our local partner. Through His grace, the retreat was implemented effectively and has brought fresh encouragement, renewed unity, and a revitalised spirit of service among local church workers as they serve faithfully.

Fri 18th – India We thank and praise God for His faithfulness and protection over Mrs J. of our local mission partner who safely delivered a healthy baby girl. We pray for His continued blessings upon both mother and child.

Sat 19th – Cambodia Please pray for the leaders of WorldShare’s partner as they review and develop new programs for the years ahead. We ask God to grant them wisdom, discernment, and unity as they plan and design programs to respond to the needs of vulnerable children and families and their communities. May the Lord guide every step of this process so that it brings lasting hope, transformation, and a positive impact.

Sun 20th – DR Congo Pray for Mr F. of our local partner, who has been imprisoned by a rebel force for a post he shared on social media. Please also extend your prayers to all people who are deprived of their right to express their peaceful views and concerns.

Mon 21st – Uganda Praise God for the high survival rate of the native and fruit trees planted in the community by one of WorldShare’s local partners. We give thanks to God’s grace and the recent training our partner provided on irrigation and how to adapt to changing rain patterns.

Week 4

Tue 22nd – Uganda Pray for families in the country to see their daughters first as God’s children, as social stigma causes many parents to turn them away after they become pregnant. We ask the Lord to bless the efforts of our local partner as they provide counselling intervention to families to accept them back, and also support the women in their education and with vocational training.

Wed 23rd – DR Congo Praise God for a successful school year at our partner’s primary school providing quality education to vulnerable children. We thank the Lord that this school recorded high academic and attendance records over the last school year.

Thu 24th – Cambodia Praise God for the growth of our local partner’s supported church in Phnom Penh. We thank the Lord that the children’s and youth ministries are growing, and that several youths have taken leadership roles in church services and kids ministry. We ask that all the young people attending continue to grow in their faith.

Fri 25th – India We praise God that the drinking water shortage in a locality on the northeastern outskirts of Bengaluru where our partner runs programs, has been resolved thanks to God’s grace, bringing much-needed relief to the local community.

Sat 26th – Indonesia Please pray for our partner’s upcoming Collaborative Learning (CLC) training. Ask God to guide every interaction as participants engage with community leaders and key staff. May the training be rich in wisdom and insight, equipping them for effective discipleship and community engagement. We pray that the knowledge gained will be greatly blessed by the Lord and lead to a lasting, positive impact through the church partnership program across Southwest Sumba.

Sun 27th – DR Congo May God bless and strengthen the staff at our partner’s medical centre. They are receiving a very high number of referrals from other medical centres and from the community, for patients needing to access their audiology services.

Mon 28th – Uganda Pray for healing and resilience for WorldShare’s mission partner co-ordinator who recently suffered a miscarriage. May she and the family know the comfort, peace and loving presence of our Saviour in this difficult season.

Week 5

Tue 29th – Cambodia Pray for Pastor S. of a church in Phnom Penh being assisted by WorldShare’s partner. He hopes to expand the church space and provide additional classrooms for children’s learning and ministry activities to bring hope and discipleship to transform many children, youth, and families. May the Lord bless these efforts.

Wed 30th – DR Congo Join us in prayer for the healing hands of the Lord, and the perseverance of the medical team, for a project manager from our local mission partner as they battle a serious health condition.
