Week 1
Thu 1st – DR Congo Please pray for local church leaders being trained by our local partner to facilitate conversations to resolve conflicts in their local communities where many people are still recovering from the trauma of recent conflicts.
Fri 2nd – Uganda Praise God for a successful workshop delivered to 283 primary school children by our local partner on personal hygiene, safe water handling, clean environment and on sanitation.
Sat 3rd – India Join us in praying for Mrs S. a valued member of our local partner team, as she recovers from a stroke and continues treatment through medication and physiotherapy. May the Lord grant her complete healing, renewed strength, and encouragement each day as she journeys toward full recovery.
Sun 4th – Indonesia Pray for wisdom as our local partner updates its Safeguarding Policy. As they revise and strengthen their digital communication guidelines, we ask the Lord to grant discernment, insight and clarity. Pray that the updated policy will help protect children and vulnerable people, foster a culture of accountability and integrity, and provide clear, practical guidance for staff as they engage online.
Mon 5th – Cambodia Praise God for His faithful protection, abundant grace, and the good health He has graciously given to our mission partner’s Mr K. and his family. May the Lord continue to watch over them and strengthen them each day.
Tue 6th – Uganda Pray for gentle, life-giving rain to the north-eastern region of Uganda, where severe drought is devastating crops and livestock. Pray for His provision and mercy over families whose livelihoods depend on the land, and for renewed hope and resilience for these communities.
Wed 7th – DR Congo Pray for WorldShare’s local partner as they work on a plan to raise awareness on inclusion for deaf people in the city where they operate.
Week 2
Thu 8th – Uganda Pray for the teachers in rural areas with limited resources and little Government support. With God’s grace and work by our local partner, teachers are equipped to deliver literacy and numeracy training to vulnerable primary school students to improve their academic performance and help them build a brighter future.
Fri 9th – DR Congo Praise God for the recent graduates of the tailoring and dressmaking program run by WorldShare’s local partner. They are now equipped with the skills and tools to start small businesses to help support their families.
Sat 10th – Cambodia Pray for C. a Grade 6 student at one of our partner’s schools, who is struggling with his studies and has difficulty with lessons. We ask God to grant him wisdom, understanding, and a teachable heart. May He also give him a clear and hopeful vision for his future.
Sun 11th – Indonesia Praise God for the encouraging response to recent pregnancy classes across three villages. We rejoice that many expectant mothers attended and participated wholeheartedly, sharing how the classes have helped them care for their emotional wellbeing and physical health. Please pray that God will continue to bless these women throughout their pregnancies.
Mon 12th – India Please pray for Preacher P. a faithful minister serving with our Indian mission partner, who is experiencing ongoing knee pain. We ask the Lord to bring relief from discomfort, restore his mobility, and strengthen him as he continues to serve his community and share the love of our Saviour with others.
Tue 13th – DR Congo Pray for WorldShare’s local mission partners as they are still navigating the challenges and uncertainty around operating under the new rebel authority.
Wed 14th – Uganda Please pray for our local partners as they engage in fundraising efforts to obtain a suitable vehicle to meet their ongoing transportation needs.
Week 3
Thu 15th – DR Congo Pray for the Lord’s loving protection over several members of our partner’s team who are expecting children. May He bless each mother with good health, sustain them throughout their pregnancies, and grant safe deliveries of healthy babies.
Fri 16th – Uganda Please pray to our Lord for political stability in Uganda, as there are reports regarding a potential presidential leadership transition in the coming years.
Sat 17th – Indonesia After a year of waiting, we ask you to join us in prayer that the Lord would graciously move the heart of the Regent of Southwest Sumba to fulfil her commitment to our local partner by providing two cultivator tractors. This machinery will be a significant blessing to local farmer groups, helping them develop sustainable commercial gardens and improve livelihoods for their families and communities.
Sun 18th – India Pray for Mrs T. of our local partner based in Southern India, who has been unwell for some time. Pray that God would renew her strength, restore her health, and surround her with His peace, love, and encouragement. May she know His sustaining presence and experience His healing grace in the days ahead.
Mon 19th – Cambodia Praise God for His blessings upon the families of our sponsored children. Recently, the efforts of our partner, with God’s grace, have sparked proactive efforts from parents and guardians to improve their livelihoods. They are developing and expanding small businesses, including livestock raising and school-based food stalls selling fresh fruit and fried rice, towards surpassing daily needs.
Tue 20th – DR Congo Pray for our local partner’s deaf community to be well informed and to understand vital information about the Ebola outbreak. This is very important as prevention measures can be difficult to follow due to communication barriers.
Wed 21st – Uganda Pray for WorldShare’s mission partner as they look for opportunities to build capacity and to ensure that their work and impact can be sustained for many years to come.
Week 4
Thu 22nd – Uganda Pray for wisdom and strength for the two young mothers who recently started university while receiving care and assistance from our local partner.
Fri 23rd – DR Congo We thank God for the dedicated medical teams serving faithfully at our local partner’s hospital in Goma. As they care for those wounded by conflict and implement additional measures for Ebola, pray for God’s protection, endurance and His sustaining peace.
Sat 24th – Cambodia Praise God for the successful first training on ‘Family Financial Management’ provided to parents, guardians, and caregivers of 175 sponsored children from four schools run by our local partner. It’s already helping strengthen household stability, health, and well-being, and is reducing financial stress.
Sun 25th – India We thank God for His healing touch upon Brother D. of our local partner, who has regained good health after a period of illness. We praise our mighty God for His sustaining grace and strength.
Mon 26th – Indonesia Continue to pray for the regular Children’s Assembly meetings run by our local partner in remote villages. We thank God to be able to share His love and truth with children and teenagers with limited access to Christian fellowship and teaching. May these gatherings plant seeds of faith, nurture young hearts in Christ, and leave a lasting, positive impact.
Tue 27th – DR Congo Please pray for our local partner’s team as they trace contacts of some families who have been uncontactable over recent months. Also pray for these families facing restricted movements due to Ebola.
Wed 28th – Uganda Pray for the volunteer outreach team of our partner who travel from different parts of Eastern Uganda to bring the gospel to rural villages. May God grant them patience and clarity in sharing the gospel, so that souls can be saved.
Week 5
Thu 29th – Cambodia Please continue to pray for the School Development Program team run by WorldShare’s local partner. With a key member having to leave to care for her ill mother, we ask the Lord to sustain, energise and guide the remaining team members and Program Manager as they take on additional responsibilities.
Fri 30th – Indonesia Praise God for the three farmer groups on Sumba Island, trained and supported by our local partner. They are managing their commercial gardens well and through God’s grace they are reaping excellent harvests, which has been helping their families flourish.
Sat 31st – All Partners Give thanks for the faithful leaders serving across our partner ministries. Pray that the Lord would fill them with wisdom, strength, and grace, and encourage them through deep fellowship, mutual support, and shared learning with fellow ministry leaders.
