Week 1

Sun 1st – DR Congo Please pray to our Saviour for an end to the Ebola outbreak in DR Congo and for a vaccine to be made and then distributed. Total cases are around 9,500 and there have been almost 4,500 deaths so far. We also ask for protection for the staff of our local partners and the children and families that they work with.

Mon 2nd – Uganda Pray that the Lord will grant each member of the governing Board of our local Ugandan partner based near Kampala, with knowledge, wisdom and Godly intent, as they oversee the work of the organisation.

Tue 3rd – India Pray for God’s continued guidance, protection, and provision for all our Indian partner’s work and ministries. With God’s grace, may their efforts continue to make a positive impact on the kids and families within Bangalore where they serve.

Wed 4th – Cambodia Please keep all of our local partner’s sponsored children in your prayers as they return from their long school holidays this week. May they be blessed with a joyful return to school and well rested, ready for more learning.

Thu 5th – Indonesia We praise the Lord for our local partner’s recent board meeting in Bali where they celebrated their 10th anniversary together. May God continue to grant them wisdom in every decision-making process, preserve unity within the team, and help them remain faithful in fulfilling the ministry’s calling to serve.

Fri 6th – Uganda Praise God for the many people whose lives have been positively impacted by our partner’s staff in communities throughout Eastern Uganda. May He continue to bless their efforts serving those devasted by poverty and food insecurity.

Sat 7th – DR Congo We praise God for the beautiful baptisms of ten Deaf people which took place on 17 October. May the Lord bless them from these baptisms and transform them, so they live for the word of the Lord as witnesses of His sovereignty in their daily lives.

Week 2

Sun 8th – Uganda Pray for God’s wisdom, peace, and favour upon the five young mothers from our mission partner’s centre as they prepare for and sit their national higher education examinations this term. May the Lord strengthen their minds, reward their perseverance, and open doors to bright futures for them.

Mon 9th – DR Congo Pray for the restoration of peace in the eastern part of DR Congo. May God stop the war that continues to kill thousands of people, displace hundreds of thousands, and worsen the poverty of vulnerable communities in the region.

Tue 10th – India Please pray for WorldShare’s local partner’s four Board of Governance members that God will grant each of them wisdom, discernment, unity, and strength as they guide their mission and community initiatives.

Wed 11th – Cambodia We praise God for the recently completed three-year evaluation reports for our local partner. They are now planning and implementing the next three-year program cycle for 2027–2029. We thank our Lord for His guidance as they look forward to continuing the work with renewed commitment and faith.

Thu 12th – Indonesia Please pray for WorldShare’s partner’s new Finance and Admin staff member who joined them in late October. We ask God to help her settle in well into her new role as part of the team in Sumba.

Fri 13th – DR Congo Continue to pray for the safe passage for two staff members of our local partner who are still stranded near the border of Uganda and unable to return to Goma due to Ebola travel restrictions and active armed conflict. We ask God to open up a way for them to return home soon.

Sat 14th – Uganda We praise God for bringing about consistent, widespread rainfall after a long period of drought, so that the farmers are able to plant crops. We ask our Lord to moderate the rainfall so localised flooding will dissipate and crops can thrive.

Week 3

Sun 15th – DR Congo Pray the Government and Rebels may seek and find peace and restore the whole country under one leadership. We ask for God’s intervention as our partner’s staff and the people they serve are weary and struggling under the daily strain.

Mon 16th – Uganda We Praise the Lord for the young mothers who have delivered babies at our partner’s maternity centre – with 22 young mothers so far, since the centre opened recently. We thank God for the good health of the mothers, babies and the staff.

Tue 17th – India Thank God for His divine protection over those who run and attend our partner’s High School. Praise God for the school’s continued growth and their pursuit of excellence, and for the dedication of teachers, parents and students.

Wed 18th – Cambodia We praise God for the successful development of our local partner’s new Disability & Inclusion Policy. We celebrate and give thanks for this important framework for staff, parents/caregivers, kids and other relevant stakeholders to promote disability inclusion and ensure that rights, dignity, participation, and equal opportunities for people with disability are respected.

Thu 19th – Indonesia Pray for the recruitment process at our Indonesian partner so they can find a suitable new Godly program manager for the Lombok and Bali office, who will be able to effectively manage, develop and encourage the team.

Fri 20th – DR Congo Please pray for God to bless the training programs planned with the churches supported by WorldShare’s local partner, including visits to the sick, biblical training, evangelistic campaigns, and other ongoing activities.

Sat 21st – Uganda Please join us in praying for the churches in Uganda. Across the country over 80% of Ugandans identify as Christian, including Roman Catholics, Anglicans and Pentecostals, although many rural areas in particular are without an active church to attend. We pray that more church leaders will rise up and be equipped to build the church in Uganda.

Week 4

Sun 22nd – Uganda We thank God for a successful recent Christian outreach to youth undertaken by our local mission partner in the south-central region of the country. We ask that the Lord bless the efforts of the evangelical team so that more young people may come to know Christ.

Mon 23rd – DR Congo Pray for all the patients admitted into the hospital run by our partner in Eastern DR Congo. Despite massive demand, the doctors, paramedics, nurses, and staff continue to provide high-quality care and healing. May God strengthen them as they care for the wounded and the sick, and protect them from Ebola.

Tue 24th – India Pray for the broader work of our local partner in India. We ask that God would provide the resources, support and help needed to conduct much needed repairs, construct a small 10-bed hospital, and procure tailoring machines for the vocational training work they undertake.

Wed 25th – Cambodia We pray that God will guide WorldShare’s local partner to the right person with a godly heart to serve, as they search for a Senior Organisational Development Coordinator to oversee and strengthen HR and Child Safeguarding.

Thu 26th – Indonesia Please pray to God that our local mission partner will soon be able to provide water access support for the farmer groups that they train and sustain which still lack direct access to water. May their efforts be blessed by our Saviour.

Fri 27th – DR Congo Pray for the teachers and supervisors of Deaf children at our local partner’s centre who dedicate themselves wholeheartedly to providing excellent care.

Sat 28th – Uganda We continue to thank God for the peaceful working environment that the staff and leaders of WorldShare’s local partner have, as they serve communities in Eastern Uganda. Please continue to bless them Lord, with your love and protection.

Week 5

Sun 29th – India Pray for the leadership team of WorldShare’s local partner. May the Lord grant them unity in decision-making, clarity of vision, and compassion, as they respond to the needs of children, families, and vulnerable communities.

Mon 30th – All Partners We pray for all the local mission partners of WorldShare, operating in Africa, India and South East Asia. We ask they continue to be led by God in their decisions, remain committed to serving communities in need, and continue to operate with commitment and integrity.
