This week on Faces of Resilience, we journey to Cambodia, a nation with a rich cultural heritage and a complex tapestry of modern challenges. Despite strong economic growth in recent years, a substantial portion of the population still faces food insecurity, high rates of domestic violence, child labour, and limited access to education. These challenges present considerable obstacles, but they also highlight the resilience and determination of the Cambodian people.
In today’s photo collection, our photographers have captured the journey toward self-sufficiency and hope. The images showcase families and individuals, with the support of our ministry partners, setting up small businesses from their homes to improve their livelihoods. You’ll see children who, thanks to the gift of a bike, no longer need to endure long and unsafe walks to school, now arriving safely and ready to learn, and much more.
By sharing these beautiful stories, we hope to inspire others and highlight the critical roles of community support. Next week, we will visit another country with its own unique culture and challenges. Stay tuned, and see you next week!
Be sure to join us next week as we continue our journey to a different country that we serve.
