Right now, our ministry partners in the DR Congo, Uganda and India are each facing national crises, where severe shortages and skyrocketing prices of food and other essentials are threatening the lives and livelihoods of their countries’ most vulnerable people.
In recent weeks heavy fighting has broken out between the DR Congolese Army and M23 rebel forces in the Eastern DR Congo, where our ministry partners, HEAL Africa and Ephphatha, live and serve.

12 years ago, in the DR Congo, a baby was born. Her parents named her ‘Uwezo’ – a name that means ‘ability’. They were probably full of hope for their precious baby daughter’s future, a hope they captured in her name.
